A teenager has been arrested following concerns about senior pupils from an Inverness school using controlled drugs outside school premises.

The Millburn Academy students were on study leave on Friday when the 18-year-old male was arrested.

Police Scotland said the teenager had been reported to the procurator fiscal.

Police and the school warned about the risks of taking drugs, including so-called legal highs.
