Men arrested following separate assaults in Inverness

Two men have been arrested following separate incidents in Inverness on Saturday.

A 19-year-old was arrested after a man was assaulted in a lane between King Street and Huntly Street at about 17:30.

A 22-year-old was arrested after a man was attacked at about 18:00 on Ness Walk near the Maple Court Hotel.

Police Scotland said the victims in both assaults were taken to hospital for treatment for minor injuries.
