'Serious' crash closes A9 near Alness in Highlands

The emergency services have been called to a "serious" crash that shut the A9 in both directions in Easter Ross.

The three-vehicle collision happened at about 15:30.

The road at the scene was closed in both directions and diversions were put in place at Alness and Milnafua.

There are no details of whether anyone has been injured.
