Search in Skye's Cuillins for missing walker

A search has been launched in Coire Ghrunnda in the southern Cuillin hills on Skye for a missing hillwalker.

The man was reported overdue from a trek by a member of his family on Tuesday night.

A search was started at 22:00 before being suspended when the weather deteriorated.

Police, Skye Mountain Rescue Team and the Stornoway Coastguard helicopter resumed the efforts to find the man on Wednesday morning.
