Biker who died in Inverness after crash with car named

A man has died after his motorbike and a car collided in Culcabock Road, Inverness.

The crash, at 16:51 on Thursday, was close to the junction with Kingsmills Road.

Paul Todd, 57, of Conon Bridge, was taken to the city's Raigmore hospital but died a short time later. A man and woman in the car were not injured.

Police closed the road to allow for investigation work. They have appealed for any witnesses to contact them.

Diversions were in place for a time following the crash.
