Anti-freeze suspected in cat's death in Culloden

A cat suspected of being poisoned by car anti-freeze has had to be put down by a vet.

The Scottish SPCA said the cat had been kept as a pet in Culloden's Hazel Avenue where cats had previously died after showing signs of poisoning.

Last year, at total of five Culloden cats died after showing the symptoms - two from Hazel Avenue and three from Walker Crescent.

The SSPCA said it was investigating the latest incident.
