Viruses shut wards at Raigmore and Nairn hospitals
Wards at two hospitals in the Highlands have been closed temporarily after patients were struck down by diarrhoea and vomiting.
Nairn Town and County Hospital was completely shut to new admissions on Thursday after five people took ill.
Surgical ward 3C at Raigmore Hospital in Inverness was closed on Friday morning after two patients fell ill.
NHS Highland said initial test results from the Raigmore cases suggested norovirus could be the cause.
