Dead bus driver identified by police

A bus driver who died after a crash near Haster in Caithness has been formally identified by police.

The collision, involving the bus and a 4x4, happened on the A882 Wick to Watten road at about 21:20 on Monday.

Bus driver William Davison, 63, from Watten, died in the collision.

The 4x4 driver was airlifted to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness after suffering serious injuries. Three bus passengers were treated for minor injuries.
