Climber in 300ft fall on Buachaille Etive Mor

A climber has fallen 91.4m (300ft) on Buachaille Etive Mor in Glen Etive.

Northern Constabulary said the man fell while attempting to cross from Crowberry Gully to Curved Ridge at about 10:53.

Glencoe Mountain Rescue Team found the man and he was airlifted off the mountain by a Royal Navy helicopter.

He was flown to a car park in Fort William and taken to Belford Hospital by ambulance. Police said he had arm, shoulder and leg injuries.
