Two men charged with the murder of a teenager in the Western Isles in November 2011 have had their trial adjourned.

Johnathan MacKinnon, 22, of Elgin, and Stefan Millar, 21, of Inverness, are accused of killing 16-year-old Liam Aitchison in Steinish, on Lewis.

The men were due to stand trial this week at the High Court in Glasgow.

However, the case was adjourned because of legal matters. A new trial is expected in April in Glasgow.

Mr Aitchison was from South Uist.
