Teenager arrested over fire at Royal Hotel in Dingwall
The blaze took place early on Monday morning
A 17-year-old has been arrested in connection with a large fire at a hostel for the homeless in Dingwall.
Almost 50 firefighters tackled the blaze at the Royal Hotel in the town's High Street on Monday, when a number of people were evacuated.
Northern Constabulary said that, following an investigation, a 17-year-old male had been arrested in connection with the incident.
A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal at Dingwall.
