Body of man, 51, found in water at Fort William

The body of a man has been recovered from water off Fort William.

Northern Constabulary said the body of the 51-year-old was recovered just off the West End car park at Loch Linnhe on Sunday night by coastguards.

A spokesman said there did not appear to be any suspicious circumstances and a report would be submitted to the procurator fiscal.

No details of the dead man will be issued until all next of kin have been informed.
