Two weeks of work planned for A9 near Inverness
Two weeks of resurfacing work is to begin on the A9 south of Inverness - on the same day that months of work start on the road's Kessock Bridge.
Next Monday is the start date for improvements to the northbound carriageway at Badachreamh and the bridge at Inverness.
Contractor Scotland Transerv said traffic management measures would be in place at Badachreamh.
The measures will include traffic lights and a convoy system.
The work nine miles (14.5km) south of Inverness will be part of a £250,000 package of improvements to the dual carriageway.
Road works are to be in place on the Kessock Bridge until June.
