A man whose body was found in a boating pond in Thurso last week has been named by police.
Northern Constabulary said Alexander MacGregor was 83 and known locally as Dougie and Doug. He was from the Caithness town.
Mr MacGregor's body was found at about 07:00 on 31 January.
Police said they were not treating his death as suspicious.
