Woman badly injured in A862 crash near Inverness

A woman has been seriously injured after her car was involved in a collision with a van and a lorry near Inverness.

The crash happened at about 07:40 on the A862 at Inchmore.

Police said firefighters freed the woman from her car, and she and the driver of the van were taken to hospital in Inverness for treatment.

The man driving the van was not thought to have been seriously injured, police said. The lorry driver was unhurt.
