Road damaged after lorry blaze on A82 near Fort William
A six-wheeled lorry has been destroyed by fire on the A82, a mile north of Torlundy between Spean Bridge and Fort William.
The driver was not injured in the incident, which took place at 06:00.
The A82 was shut for several hours at the scene of the blaze, which caused damage to the A82, and traffic was diverted.
A Stagecoach bus with 22 people on board came off a road on one of the diversionary routes. No-one was hurt.
Traffic was diverted northbound via the Camesky-Brackletter Road and southbound via the Gairlochy-Banavie road.
The diversion routes were not opened to HGVs.
Northern Constabulary said the stretch of A82 involved had been fully reopened.
