Driver injured after car overturns near Munlochy

A man has been injured after his car overturned on a road in the Black Isle in the Scottish Highlands.

The crash happened at about 14:25 on the B9161 between the A9 and Munlochy.

A spokesman for Northern Constabulary said the car ended up on its side. The male driver, who suffered head injuries, was taken to Raigmore Hospital. His condition was not known.

No other vehicles were involved in the incident. The road was closed to allow the car to be recovered.
