More turbines to be added to Ross-shire wind farm
The Scottish government has approved an application for an extension to the number of turbines at the Lochluichart Wind Farm in Ross-shire.
Six new turbines will be added to the 17-turbine scheme near Garve.
The original proposals for 17 turbines at Lochluichart were approved by the Scottish government in 2008.
But before work began on the scheme the developer, Infinergy, applied for the six turbine extension. The expanded project could supply 32,000 homes.
