Walker who died in Ben Nevis fall from West Yorkshire

A hill walker who died after a fall on Ben Nevis last week has been named by police.

Insurance agent Andrew Tedder, 49, was from Emley, in West Yorkshire.

He was descending the mountain when he slipped from a tourist path and fell into a steep gully at about 22:00 on Friday.

Lochaber Mountain Rescue team was alerted and found the man in the ravine. He had sustained fatal injuries.
