Two hurt in crash on A9 near Drumochter Pass

Two people have been taken to hospital after a crash involving a motorcycle and a car on the A9 north of the Drumochter Pass.

Northern Constabulary said the accident was reported at about 14:15.

The motorcyclist was airlifted to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness with a suspected broken arm, but his injuries were not life-threatening.

The female driver of the car was taken to the same hospital by ambulance, but was not hurt.

The stretch of road where the accident happened was closed for a short time.
