A man has appeared in court in connection with the alleged theft of telephone cable on 7 June from near Lochcarron in Wester Ross.
Alexander McPhee, from Skye, appeared on petition at Dornoch Sheriff Court in Sutherland.
He made no plea or declaration and the case was continued for further examination.
Following his appearance, the 28-year-old was released on bail.
