Lorry hits Inverness railway bridge and sheds load

A lorry has shed its load of metal after hitting a railway bridge in Inverness, police have said.

The accident happened on Shore Street, close to the city's harbour, at about 14:55.

Northern Constabulary said the incident had closed the street from the Shore Street roundabout.

The force said the lorry had spilled its cargo of metal onto the road following the collision with the railway bridge.
