Met Office weather warning for Scotland, England and NI

The Met Office has issued a yellow "be aware" warning for Scotland, north England and Northern Ireland.

Forecasters said ice was expected to form on untreated roads as rain cleared away overnight.

Wintry showers could also affect Northern Ireland, south west Scotland and northern England.

The Met Office said the severe weather warning was valid from 00:05 to 11:00 on Thursday and the conditions could affect travel.
