A 15-year-old boy has been stabbed by another teenager in a play park.
The boy was in an argument with his attacker in the play park in Brockburn Road, near to Levernside Crescent, in Pollok, at about 22:00 on Thursday.
After being stabbed he was taken to the Southern General Hospital where his condition is serious but stable.
The attacker is described as white, 15-16 years old, 5ft 5in tall, of slim build, with shoulder-length fair hair and stretched earrings in both ears.
He was wearing a navy blue hooded top and black trousers.
Following the attack he ran off towards the Crookston Castle area.
Det Con Lauren Docherty, from Police Scotland, said: "The park was very busy at 2200 hours last night and although we have managed to speak to some of the youths within the park at this time, I believe there are many more we still have to speak to.
"I urge anyone who has not yet spoken to police to contact us immediately."
