A man who was caught with heroin with a street value of about £70,000 has been jailed for three years and four months.
Paul John Greenhalgh was caught with 1.19kg of the drug in a car at Bothwell Services, off the M74 motorway in South Lanarkshire, on 13 June.
The 38-year-old, from Salford, in Greater Manchester, admitted being concerned in the supply of heroin.
A confiscation order for £13,940 was also granted in relation to the cash Greenhalgh was caught with.
The High Court in Glasgow heard that he was caught in a police surveillance operation that initially observed suspicious activity involving Greenhalgh in the city's Maryhill area.
