A man is to stand trial for murder following the death of another man in Glasgow city centre last year.

Simon Richardson, 45, from Paisley in Renfrewshire, died after a disturbance in Wellington Street on 10 November.

Luke Quinn, 32, is accused of kicking and stamping on Mr Richardson and going through his pockets.

He appeared for a preliminary hearing at the High Court in Glasgow. Judge Lady Rae set a trial date for October.
