Glasgow 2014: 109 new buses to shuttle athletes and spectators at Games

First Bus has announced a £20m investment in 109 new buses which will carry customers for the first time at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.

The new buses will form part of a 380-strong fleet used to shuttle athletes, officials, media and spectators.

First spokesman Andrew Scholey said: "This is a key milestone in our final preparations for the Games.

"We've been planning for Glasgow 2014 for over a year and are looking forward to the Games beginning on 23 July."
