Saltcoats death: Arrest after 'stabbing' at Sandylands holiday park

A man has been arrested in connection with the death of another man at a holiday park in Saltcoats in North Ayrshire.

A 41-year-old man was fatally stabbed during a disturbance at Sandylands Holiday Park, in James Miller Crescent, at about 23:35 on Thursday.

Police Scotland said a 28-year-old man had been detained.

He is expected to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Monday.
