A teenager has been arrested in connection with a suspected hit-and-run death in North Lanarkshire.

Michael Delaney, from Airdrie, died in hospital after being found lying seriously injured on Drumbathie Road in the town on 28 April.

It is believed the 48-year-old had been struck by a vehicle.

Police said a 19-year-old man had been arrested and reported to the procurator fiscal in connection with alleged road traffic offences.
