Woman dies after two vehicle crash in Bearsden area

A woman has died after a two vehicle crash in the Bearsden area of East Dunbartonshire.

The incident happened at the junction of Ardoch Road and Boclair Road at about 08:15.

Emergency services were called to the scene after a van and a Vauxhall Corsa collided.

The 60-year-old driver of the Vauxhall Corsa died at the scene while the 26-year-old male driver of the van was uninjured but badly shaken.

Police Scotland have appealed for any witnesses to the crash to contact them.
