Drugs worth £1.5m seized in Lanarkshire and Glasgow

Drugs worth more than £1.5m have been seized in two separate police raids in Glasgow and South Lanarkshire.
Amphetamine sulphate, known as speed, worth about £1m was found in a car on the northbound M74 at Larkhall at 19:45 on Thursday. A man, 26, was arrested.
About 1,100 cannabis plants, worth £660,000, were found in an industrial unit in Partick, Glasgow, at 20:45 on Thursday. No arrests were made.
The two intelligence-led drug recovery operations were unrelated.
