Three car crash on M8 causes tailbacks in Glasgow

Crash near Charing cross, Glasgow No-one was seriously injured in the crash

Three cars have been involved in a crash on the westbound M8 at Charing Cross at about 14:00.

Police Scotland said no-one was seriously injured, but one person was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure.

Two lanes were blocked by the collision, causing congestion and tailbacks.

The roads had been busy with people driving to the Boxing Day sales and a football match at Ibrox.
