Man, 32, charged after death in Glasgow city centre

A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a 45-year-old man in Glasgow city centre.

Luke Quinn, 32, is charged with the attack on the man, whose name is unknown, in Wellington Street at about 00:35 on Sunday.

The victim later died in Glasgow's Royal Infirmary.

Quinn, from East Renfrewshire, appeared in private at Glasgow Sheriff Court where he made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody.

He will appear next week for full committal.
