Man charged with murder over Jonathan Scotland flats death fall
A 29-year-old man has appeared in court charged with the murder of another man who fell to his death from the eighth floor of a block of flats in Glasgow.
The body of Jonathan Scotland, 33, was discovered in Blythswood Court, near Argyle Street, in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Leonard Brannigan, of no fixed address, made no plea or declaration when he appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
He was remanded in custody and is due to appear in court again next week.
Police were called to the scene at 01:30 on Wednesday and the surrounding area was sealed off.
