Man hurt in police car incident in Glasgow

A man was taken to hospital after being hit by a police car in Glasgow.

The marked vehicle was responding to an emergency call on Ardmay Crescent in the city's southside just after 23:30 on Saturday when the pedestrian was struck.

Police Scotland said the man was taken to the Victoria Infirmary where he was detained for observation.

His injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
