Man arrested in Paisley over £1m amphetamine haul

A man has been arrested after amphetamine with an estimated street value of £1m was found at a property in Paisley, Renfrewshire.

Officers from Police Scotland, acting under warrant, searched the flat in Saucel Crescent, in the town's Hunterhill area, at 19:00 on Thursday.

The 24-year-old man was detained and is currently being held in police custody.

He is expected to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Monday.
