John Adams killed after car leaves road in Kilmarnock

A man has died after a car left the road and hit a crash barrier in Kilmarnock.

John Adams, 32, from Knockentiber, was killed in the incident on Kilmaurs Road between Crosshouse and Knockentiber.

The crash occurred at about 17:45 on Friday.

Strathclyde Police said inquiries into the incident were continuing and they appealed for anyone who witnessed the crash to come forward with any information.
