Line-up announced for Aye Write! book festival
The festival takes place in Glasgow from 12-20 April
Radio presenters Jeremy Vine, James Naughtie and Sandi Toksvig have all been lined up for this year's Aye Write! book festival.
Other authors appearing include Alasdair Gray, AL Kennedy, Jon Ronson and comic book writer Mark Millar.
Labour MP Tom Watson and Christopher Jeffries, wrongly suspected of killing Joanna Yeates, will also discuss the Leveson Inquiry into press standards.
The Glasgow event takes place from 12-20 April at the Mitchell Library.
Councillor Archie Graham, chairman of Glasgow Life, said: "Aye Write! has built its reputation by bringing some of the biggest literary names to Glasgow for people to meet and enjoy.
"This year the line-up is as rich and diverse as ever and with the ever popular debates and the new creative writing sessions, there is plenty for everyone to enjoy at the Mitchell Library."
