Firefighters tackle major Johnstone waste plant blaze
Local residents were moved as firefighters tackled the blaze
More than 60 firefighters have been deployed at a major blaze in Johnstone, Renfrewshire.
The fire is at a waste recycling plant in Floors Street. No one is believed to have been injured.
Police officers have been called to secure the area. A number of local residents have been asked to move from their homes.
At the height of the blaze, train services on the railway line between Glasgow and Ayr were halted.
