Man held over amphetamine raid in East Ayrshire

A man has been arrested after amphetamine with an estimated street value of about £65,000 was seized at a house in East Ayrshire.

Officers from Strathclyde Police searched the house in Wylie Crescent, Cumnock, at about 17:00 on Wednesday.

After discovering the amphetamine, they detained a man at the scene.

The 33-year-old is the subject of a report to the procurator fiscal and is expected to appear at Ayr Sheriff Court on Thursday.
