Cannabis worth £300,000 found in Shettleston, Glasgow

Cannabis seized by Strathclyde Police Officers found cannabis like this during a search of premises in Shettleston

Strathclyde Police have recovered cannabis plants during a raid in the east end of Glasgow.

They said the plants would be worth more than £300,000.

Officers found the cannabis growing in empty commercial premises in Fullerton Avenue, Shettleston, at about 14:45 on Friday.

In a statement issued by the Strathclyde force, it said a search had been made of the property by officers acting under warrant.
