Fresh description of suspect who raped woman in Glasgow

Police have revised their description of a man who raped a 23-year-old woman in the Partick area of Glasgow.

The woman was attacked on Crow Road, near Cross Park, as she walked home from a night out at 02:15 on Monday.

The man approached the victim from behind and threatened her before taking the woman to a wooded area within the park, where she was sexually assaulted.

Police initially said the man was of Middle Eastern appearance but have since said he has "sallow skin".

He is also described as being in his mid-20s, about 5ft 8in tall, of slim build, with short dark hair and bushy eyebrows,

The man is said to have a Glasgow accent and was wearing a white tracksuit top.

Following the attack, he ran off onto Crow Road.

Detectives have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
