Derelict land in Dalmarnock and Ardrossan in £21m revamp
Derelict land in the west of Scotland is to be brought back into use with £21.2m of public money.
The Scottish government has given £16m for the development of 120,000 sq ft of office space in Dalmarnock, Glasgow.
A £5.2m award will fund a new medical centre and industrial and office space in Ardrossan, North Ayrshire.
The cash is being allocated to local regeneration companies Clyde Gateway and Irvine Bay, who will be responsible for delivering the projects.
Announcing the funding, Deputy First Minister Nicola Sturgeon said: "These projects will make a substantial difference, supporting jobs and growth in the short term, as well as providing a lasting legacy for the communities involved."
