Body of missing man Craig McCaffrey found in River Clyde

The body of a man who had been missing for more than five weeks has been recovered from the River Clyde in Glasgow, police have said.

Craig McCaffrey, 24, was last seen dressed in a gorilla costume, leaving a fancy dress night in the city's Eglinton Street, on 26 October.

His body was recovered from the River Clyde, near to the Science Centre, at about 10:05 on Monday.

A post mortem examination will be carried out to determine how he died.

Police are not treating his death as suspicious.
