Man held after death following Coatbridge 'house fight'

A man has been arrested over the death of another man in a disturbance in North Lanarkshire.

Strathclyde Police officers were called to a house in Annathill Gardens, Coatbridge, at 19:40 on Sunday.

Alistair Milroy, 42, from East Kilbride, was found injured inside. He died at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary.

A 47-year-old man had been arrested in connection with the death and is expected to appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
