Man arrested after woman's body found at SECC in Glasgow

Khanokporn Satjawat Khanokporn Satjawat was a delegate at a pharmaceutical conference being held at the Clyde Auditorium

A man has been arrested in connection with the death of a woman whose body was found in part of the SECC complex in Glasgow.

The body of Khanokporn Satjawat, 42, from Thailand, was found within the Clyde Auditorium at 14:30 on Monday.

It is understood she was a manager for a pharmaceutical company and was a delegate at a conference being held at the SECC.

Strathclyde Police said a 34-year-old man had been detained in custody.

He is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
