Police in Clydebank investigate fatal crash

Strathclyde Police have renewed their appeal for witnesses to a crash which claimed the life of a 50-year-old Porsche driver.

Officers have been stopping motorists at the scene crash, one week after it took place.

The Porsche 911 struck a barrier on the A82, Great Western Road, near Clydebank at about 20:50 on Friday 2 November.

The driver died but his daughter, who is 16, has subsequently been released from hospital after treatment.

Constable John Hill of the road policing unit said: "There are a number of people we have spoken to as part of this enquiry, however I would like to hear from the driver of the silver or grey coloured car, which we believe may have been behind the Porsche before the crash.

"I would ask that driver to get in touch with us."
