Woman held in Clydebank over £97,000 amphetamine raid

A woman has been arrested after amphetamine with an estimated street value of £97,000 was found at a house in West Dunbartonshire.

Police, acting under warrant, searched the house in Adelaide Court, Clydebank, at about 17:05 on Thursday.

Along with the drug, officers seized 30 kilos of cutting agent, the value of which has not yet been established.

The 44-year-old woman who was arrested is expected to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Monday.
