Woman with serious head injury found in Broomloan Road in Glasgow

A major police operation is under way in the south side of Glasgow after a seriously injured woman was found in the street.

The woman was found with a head injury outside a petrol station in the city's Broomloan Road on Friday afternoon.

She was taken by ambulance to the nearby Southern General Hospital.

Strathclyde Police are investigating at the scene and closed the carriageway between the roundabout on Broomloan Road and Paisley Road West.
