David Robertson accused of sex offences over five decades

A 55-year-old man is set to go on trial accused of 30 sex offences - including rapes - spanning 36 years.

David Robertson, of Aberdeen, is accused of crimes in Aberdeen, Angus and Inverness-shire.

The offences are said to have taken place against 16 people at various times between 1975 and 2011.

At the High Court in Glasgow, judge Lady Stacey ordered Robertson to stand trial on 23 January at the High Court in Aberdeen.
